Client is a leading consultant educates like-minded individuals as how to invest in the Stock Market whilst understanding the risks. Their team aims to bring a combined experience of over 20 years in the stock market which helps their clients to achieve confidence and sound knowledge.
Challenges
The client deals with stock marketing data, to get the current stock for security traded on a particular market the existing developers have used a API. Client reported an issue to our team that for few Stock symbols the stock value is not getting updated in the web application which in turn reflected as incorrect data in the Android and iOS Mobile App
What We Did
ANGLER Team analyzed the issues the complete code which renders data to the mobile app. After a deep analysis it was found that the third party open source API which is used in the current coding has an issue with data on few symbols. The symbols itself seems to be invalid in that API.
Our developers applied their market knowledge on business and technology, found an alternate API and integrated the same. Now the Core feature of the application which is stock update, is working as per the client expectation. This way we not only take care of the technology handling of an application but also support client with their business data achievement through technology.
