The Client

The client is a provider of IT related services for various governmental agencies and sectors and also provides mobile applications for various purposes.

Business Requirement

The client has already got a custom Android mobile app running for fertilizer trading that addresses the requirement of the North-East region. However, now the app had to be adapted/developed for the iOS platform. The original app had to be enhanced with few more additional features too and cater tp iPhone users too.

Technical Solution Provided

ANGLER approached this project as an outsourcing service provider. Instead of taking up development tasks parallel, we took it up one by one. We initiated development with enhancing the Android app with additional functionalities. For the additional modules, the APIs and backend support, the front end development, it was done by ANGLER.

Once enhancement was completed, we started with iOS development and we used the same web services, APIs, backend, UI, etc. With this enhanced mobile app, the field agents can easily view / predict ‘Mandi’ prices, use a simple Chatbot to solve issues and queries, plus place orders on behalf of farmers.
