Challenges
Client want to develop an Android mobile app which will be used by their low level employees such as Transport Person / Delivery Boys. Client offers extensive and seamless transportation to their customers and direct delivery boys to deliver cargoes. The developed mobile app should help the delivery boys to align their jobs for the day, get customer location and details with Google map navigation.
What We Did
We have developed an android mobile app which will work in both tablet and mobile. The Apps work out of login authentication. The Transport person will have the list of jobs / deliveries allocated for him. For each job he will be able to see the Job number, Job type & Trip Category with customer details such as Name, address phone number etc… The transport person shall take up a Job and say I have started the Job, He can navigate to the user location using the Google Map navigation feature in the app and once he has reached the customer location he shall pass the status to admin panel and the destination location.
After the delivery of cargo / materials he shall collect / handover all the necessary document to the customers such as Bill of lading, Commercial invoice, Certificate of Origin, Packing list, sales order, Cheques etc… with image / file upload options. After all the process has over he should get the Delivery acknowledgement remarks and digital sign from the customer in the app itself
