Challenges

• Client’s requirement was to develop an application, which should track and maintain the vehicles / assets.
• Application should track and maintain Fleet wise records.
• Should notify with an alarm for an individual vehicle like parked, idle, moving status and etc., and
• Should present the records in grids, maps and charts for more user friendliness.
• Users should be able to download the application from Playstore (Android) and iTunes (iOS) and install it in their mobile devices.

What We Did

• Application was developed with advanced technologies such as PhoneGap framework, and many other solutions for better performance, has been integrated.
• Application mainly updates the users with their vehicles/assets track records with real and live information and presents the same in grid display, lets the users to plot and see in Nokia map.
• Admin can send messages and set reminders for client. Also the client’s dashboard could be designed by Admin to have the selected widgets in the client’s home screen of the app.
• Provides Map with routing features to know the travel routes.
• Live tracking for individual vehicle under fleets and particular fleet is available.
• History of records can be seen for all vehicles /assets in this application.
• Sorting can be made with date, time and vehicles basis.
• Application automatically refresh and updates the user with live information without user interaction
• Pictorial representation has integrated for more user friendliness.
• Application provides help tutorial for the users to get familiar with the application features and flow.
