The client has launched its taxi hailing services across some important Indian cities and has some main attributes like comfort, safety and reliability offered to every customer. Their system had transparency in pricing and deals. This perhaps has made them one of the most preferred radio taxi service in parts of India, including Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Amritsar.
Business Requirement
The client required an application to support Airport Booking Agents who had a tie-up with their taxi cab service. The agent required a mobile app to book rides and also print the tickets using the app.
Technology Solution Provided
Following the client’s requirements, we developed the mobile app on the Android platform to cater to the needs of airport booking agents and for shuttling passengers to the airport. Using the app the agent can login with their respective credentials and perform the booking operation. The booking for a customer is based on their location. The customer can view the travel path and make their payment through a choice of cash or credit or credit card. Based on the requirement, the customer is also provided a cab selection option. Finally, the bookings can be printed as a document from the mobile app through a Bluetooth connected printer.
